If Not Now, When Will You Get Healthy?
If not now, when . . .
Do these words haunt you as much as they do me? IF NOT NOW, WHEN? If you’ve been watching “The Chosen” series, you remember the scene with this phrase. Jesus, his mother Mary, and his disciples are enjoying a wedding when the unthinkable happens. The hosts of the wedding begin to run out of wine!
In this middle-eastern, honor/shame culture, providing food and drink for your guests is the highest honor you can give. When the wine runs out, so does the honor.
Mary sees what is happening and knows her son is the only one who can save the day. Jesus needs to make a miracle happen.
But Jesus isn’t quite ready to let the world in on his identity. A miracle performed in public begins a set of events that will change Jesus life forever.
On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.” “Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”
John 2:1-5
His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
If not now, when?
What shift in your life could cause a chain of events that could change your life forever? Jesus hesitated, but then he took action!
What do you need to do and why are you hesitating?
If your answer is that you need to get healthy, but it’s not a good time. My question for you is, “If not now, when?” When will you get healthy? You already know there will never be a perfect time to take action I know because I struggled for a long time to make a change too. But it was so worth it. I decided I was tired of headaches, no energy and joint pain. You may be struggling with some of the same things.
I’ll be honest, your health is not a quick fix. It’s a journey that takes courage. Courage to start and courage to keep going. Through scripture we know that God cares about our bodies. They are a temple of the Holy Spirit and we should do our best to take care of them.
Mary wasn’t willing to accept Jesus answer. She knew he could do it. He could change water to wine
Unfortunately, I can’t promise you a miracle, but I’m pretty darn sure you will feel better!
What if you could
- get more energy
- lose a few pounds (or more!)
- get rid of brain fog
- feel better about yourself
- reduce inflammation and joint pain
- stop having tummy issues
- stop having headaches all the time
- lower your blood sugar levels
Changing your health doesn’t happen overnight, but it will never happen if you don’t start.
Give yourself 30 days to make a reset and get on a new path. I am on a journey to grow stronder on the inside and outside. I would love for you to join me.
If not now, WHEN?
You are precious in His sight,
Stacy
